David Beckham set to become Real Madrid ambassador
David Beckham will become Real Madrid ambassador, according to club Florentino Perez.
The Former England international played for Los Blancos from 2003 to 2007 and became the fans’ favourite.
During his interview with Fox Deportes, Perez revealed that he has talked with Beckham in Miami last month, where he agreed to become club’s ambassador.
“The great players are those who have given us this great image of the club since 2000,” Perez said
“These players like [Luis] Figo, [Zinedine] Zidane, Ronaldo and Beckham, who I have just seen here and was delighted to see him again.
“They remain our ambassadors, Zidane as coach, Ronaldo Nazario, Roberto Carlos. And now David Beckham too is going to join up with us as an ambassador.”
While Beckham is yet to confirm Wheater he is taking ambassador role at Real Madrid.
